@ 6,4 I'm sure your heavy footed crazy, more important the hull have you surfed it more? Anymore feed back?

Yeah had another surf on it, i love the board so easy to ride. Had to put it in the rack for storage, need to get some clean up done around the house before surgery and the quack gave me 2 arms back till surgery (week monday). Obct will be banging on about how good the surf was, I couldn't surf today if I tried can't lift my arm above my head.

Your up early obct me too

Was worth gettin up early today - nice little waves at C/A and only a handful of knobs out (and me) fair bit of agro tho for such a small crowd - 5 minute locals taking the wave sharing a tad too far - apparently its ok to drop in if you smile

Yep, and after I was done with the the surf I did the shop'n with the missus, drove for 1 hour to mums, stayed for one hour, drove back home in 1 hour, sanded a board, cooked up a big spag sauce in the croc pot, did this post and now I'm back in the car to check it out for an arvo session.

Then back home to serve up din dins before I hit the fart sack nice and early.

I'm luv'n it.

I'm not sure if the Meyerhoffers look like the worlds biggest odor eater or the worlds biggest panty liner or just really dumb looking.

Although I'm not too well versed in design principals of surf'n I can follow clues and one I've noted with interest is the so called "Competition Model".

Take a close look at it in comparison to the original and lo and behold, its shape is evolving closer towards the shape of a normal board, and not towards a more radicalised version of the original shape.

I don't know what that says to you, but to me it says the original was too crappy to go any further with.

personally I reckon they look like a floating peanut - and carrying one down the beach I reckon thats exactly what you would feel like. And no I haven't tried one and I don't care how well they supposedly surf, I would not been seen dead on one. And if anyone wants an as new 8ft one I have a mate with one who would part with it cheap.

We're pretty good at dragging topics off course, so I've come us with a way to get up back on topic.

While I was out in the arvo sesh, there was a guy on an Epoxy Walden, and it was still in one piece

How's that

buddie of mine came over opened me a bottle of coopers vintage (which he brought) and started banging on about how good the surf looked (and he doesn't surf) told him I'd beat him with a full bottle. Having said that I hope you got out for your second, looked freaking fantastic - I sat in my garage fixed push bikes and drank beer all afternoon.

Dee Why point was just a picture of loveliness yesterday morning at day break. I desperately wanted to go out but there were just too many shorties.

I thought yesterdays wave would be just perfect for a longboard, more so than a shorty.

I tried a friends Walden years ago and have since gone on to buy 3, a 6'6 Disk, 7'6 Magic and 9'6 Magic.

All in epoxy, and personally i think they are the best mals / mini mals I have ever had..! I live on the south coast and got them off a store near me - www.naturalnecessity.com.au

if you're keen on one might be a place worth checking

Yeah youse DV8'd from my original post : i love shape and personally prefer the epoxy over glass performance overall as i've surfed both..however..breaking 2 boards led me to question the quality of GSI construction....I'd gladly buy a Steve W factory original ..and you can get em' with a pulled in tail

Oh and Natural Necessity at Gerringong usual carry stock but they're always full price. Shop around delivery is usually only 2-3 days.
