NSW is flooding big time. For the first time in 14 years Sydney's main water supply dam Waragamba Dam is overflowing. And the wind is easterly.
yep - and a 100km north its going nuts as well!!!! The rain has subsided a bit in the last hour which is nice. Its blowing pretty strong the NE and swell is a good 5 foot but not very clean sadly. Looks like its a no surf day for me - have been working all morning and will probably work until darkness. Hoping that things improve next week and I can spend a few days in the waves whilst most are at work.
The weather map for NZ looks interesting - loads of swell coming from the South on the East Coast - you should be right for swell for the next little while TB. Good luck in the big comp!!!
Some great conditions for your neck of the woods TB
http://surf.co.nz/forecasts/wainui-beach/The Captain is heading over your way next week actually - just to Auckland / Hamilton to visit her family and the girls. Not sure when we will be both over that way - I love the idea of a Frog Rock session! I gave her a ticket for xmas....the good news is that I will drop her off at the Airport on Friday morning and then head down the south coast for a long w/e if conditions permit with a few of the lads.
