I had an FST which snapped for no real reason on its 3rd surf. They replaced it and the replacent is pretty much indestructible. I still have it and it looks pretty new. Put it on gumtree a while back and was getting offers within $100 of a new one but ended up deciding to keep it. They seem to hold their value,
Ted and Mick how have yours held up did you find FST pretty strong or at least stronger than PU?
The rapid fire is essentially eps foam with epoxy resin over the top of it - a pretty standard non technical finish in today's modern age

FST uses compsand techniques and from my experience is 100 times better. I am slightly biased as I like people who embrace technology / change

I will be happy if the FST survives 4 hard years like the rapid fire did. Although given how much use it's been getting I will be surprised if it does. I only take one board to the beach these days now. My board does have a couple of weird indents on it though - right where the deck grip comes to an end. I am going to tale it in for a viewing next time I am down in Manly. Will advise if anything becomes of it.
