Nothing as yet but I may have some cash soon, I starting to sell all my buggy stuff and the fist thing was an old suby motor, not even OHC, just an old OHV 1800 from a brumby. It cost me $200 about 3 years ago and it has an adaptor plate to suit a VW gearbox.

If someone gave me $50 bucks for it, I'd me more than happy.

The ebay auction has about 2 hours to go and it's up to $406

I can't understand why such a crappy motor would go for so much.
Admittedly it has a weber, but that's hardly justification.

Thanks obct I'll have a go at it. Yeah it seems there's a lot of McTavish fans on here. I first rode one back in the mid 90's a Jason Blewitt model with a belly channel and heaps of tail rocker but didnt like it much then a few years later rode a mates fireball and really liked it. I've checked some of the factory boards and they are really well made and glassed but not too sure about the GSI models though.

Well this looks to have worked out quite well, when I told the dude why bought the motor that I was going to part out my Manx dune buggy on ebay, he became really interested in taking the lot so I did a deal and in a couple of weeks time he's coming up from Melbourne with a trailer and taking the lot.

After 13 years I will finally get my life and my garage back, the missus is over the moon.

I said to her that I would either buy more boards or even make one of my own in the space and she said she doesn't care, as long as I never start another car project.

It was fun while it lasted but at least I'll be able to keep the proof of the biggest air possible with standard VW suspension on a shot wheelbase buggy along with a lot of other pics and vids.

Not only did I land it, I had to do that jump 3 times before he got the shot he wanted.

To do that in a SWB buggy you really need to have all your ducks lined up otherwise you endo in a big way.

The takeoff dune had a little kick at the top that forced the nose higher than normal and the landing zone was a gentle downhill slope, I didn't even feel the landings.

Just a slight correction there - there is a lot of Mctavish fan (singular) on here.

Just pick up the new Redline today and bob was kind enough the give me some lockable tie downs

Only one board to come and that's going to be a Fireball Evolution and the quiver is back

I'm going to make a high budget movie about tie downs, I've already spoken to Angelina Jolie's people and they're interested.

No sure about the male lead as yet, but I’m thinking either Woody Harrelson or Woody Allen.

The plot line will be based around the love of a young boy for his tie downs and the strict old school father who insists on occy straps.

Very heart warming.

Can’t wait till we start filming the bedroom scenes with Angie

I've come up with a title for the movie obct.

Tie down Jolie

Pick me for the camera dude

Billboard can be the sound guy,he is good at making those moaning noises

Asea can be the stunt double,he is a madman at heart and looks to kill[}:)]

Back on topic for a sec, I just noticed this "Mind over Malibu"

I'll bet BB is there in a big hurry, one of the featured surfers is his girlfriend Kassia

He'll probably request a private showing.

Hey doggie, they only ever made one, after 13 hours of technical paddle stroke correction the director of the movie fell asleep.

Doggie, go hire or download this one, Another State Of Mind, its longboarding with a punk thrown in[}:)]
