Bible bashing is forgivable. After all its only human. But one of the things on my list of "most appalling things", is politicians (like Dubya) who claim to be doing God's work when they do things like invade Iraq and kill thousands of people. People MUST fall for it. If they didn't they'd string him up.
Also I found myself more than a little disillusioned with my fellow Australians when they reelected John Howard. Notwithstanding a demonstration indicating up to 70% of us disagreed with the invasion, we joined with our "great and powerful ally" in his campaign of slaughter, through the proxy of our prime minister.
I find that hard to forgive. It's disconcerting to think that at least half of you are c**ts.

wow! religion strikes up the words quickly!
maybe Alison just has a strong Christian belief and high moral standards derived by its writings, nothing more nothing less. To be labelled as a "bible basher" is a tad rough. Each their own, regardless of religious belief, I think we should all adhere to "thou shall not judge".

My point being this isn't a political or religous forum and it needs to be kept that way irrespective of how important these issues are.
