What about a hearse Plenty of room for all your gear and rollers on the floor for ease of access and a good daily driver. You could even get a bit of work on the side with it at your local funeral home

Like Robby Naish you mean?

If you've got all late-model boards (ie 8 feet long and shorter) then you can consider vehicles that wouldn't work just a few years ago. I'm driving a Ford van in the states, but when I bought it I needed to accomodate a 9'4" board. I could get away with a lot less now. If you excluded the need for a passenger seat and sleeping you could convert any station wagon simply by removing the rear seat and front passenger seat.

I agree with all the people who say toyota is good and the fact that they are like bums, everybodys got one, but they are a bit agricultural.
I drive a LWB diesel VW transporter and it's like driving a car, set the cruise control to what ever speed you want and sit back and cruise the highway, fantastic economy loads more room inside than hiace BUT yes I agree with Windy take some oxygen with you when you get it serviced

HaHa - thankfully I make everything on my cars-vans-trucks-helicopters-tanks....by myself
So parts prices are important for me, not much more.
I like (more and more) Ford Transit (LWB, Mid Roof) - cos of its room. What I am affraid is there is no big, really powerful engine.
Thanks for all opinions !
