That is a good sign. IMHO and based on no evidence whatsoever

if you leave it, it soaks into the styro a lot further and takes ages to come out. I have never had it come out that quick so I reckon u r onto a winner as u got to it quickly.
Also based on nothing at all - IMHO I reckon once there is water in there (and you will never get every last little drop out) now there is more stuff to expand with temp so it is now imperative that the vent screw is undone all the time unless on the water.
