Take this as gospel, the g11 (fire retardant) catches fire long before the bit melts

Ooh yeah, after replacing the filters in the karcher and blowing out the motor, I can still sometimes detect that odour

Ive bin looking at buying one for ages - the 3020 number refers to what exactly (I know area of cut) but what is meant it be - is it mm cubed or mm squared or something else because the maths don't add up??

Hi, the 3020 is the range of the spoilboard, which is not completely correct. 30cm x 20cm, but you'll find that the spindle will hit the crossmember before that (crash). Best not to let that happen. It can burn out stepper motor drivers or ruin bearings on the drives. The actual area is around 28x18cm. Take a look at the photo of the smaller cnc and it will give you an idea of the usable area. Also, the spindle is rated for around 400w, so the larger one may be a better option if finances allow.

Sorry, didn't explain myself too well. 3020 is the cutting area (as you know) but it's just the model type, named after the size. 30 x 20 cm.
