Is it allowed to use KA72.com to post session speeds to GTC?

According to the rules:
Speeds recorded must be from using a recognised GPS and recognised software, as described by GPSSS site, NB The Rules Committee may define it's own rules for the purposes of this challenge. These will be updated on this page.

But I read here a lot of GTC people using KA72. So is it allowed?

Yes. I use it all the time, partic to check if my Real Speed program is behaving.

Also when away for weekend etc, can use anyones laptop to get your data & post to GPSTC. I take the install disc for my GT31, load up Navilink, play & show.

Yes, it's definitely allowed.

If a result seems a bit strange then it's good to check with a variety of programs, but for normal use KA72 is fine.

Thanks for clearing this up!

Can you please update the rules page because GTC allowes posting with ka72.com but GP3S does not, as far as I understand.

I try it many times and allways there was difference in ka and my licenced gps results

I think now is data very close, but also there is a difference between prog to prog, and allways will be (some little differencies)

integration is now cool side of the story and i welcome it ;)

browse>analyse>post to gtc - it can't be easier, isn't it

i will try it this year becouse it's quicker than hand entry
