Think of the paIN Decrepit and nebbs put themselves thru today, They both had 2 epic sails yesterday, out in the ocean wavesailing for 2 to 3 hours, then subjecting themselves to 2 to 3 hours of nuclear winds and bloody chop at Hardies, then they front up today in on off gusty conditions, grovelling for huge periods, and ranking up an ave of 130+kms, now that's pain, HUGE EFFORT GUYZ
Pain can be mitigated with the secret-mens-business remedy:
Beer
Seriously I could have done another hour if I hadn't broken the board, the wind was absolutely perfect, the water was lovely and smooth for both gybes and tacks, and that was the first time I'd ever hit a board with my harness hook. Totally bummed that I had to stop

What? Wear a GPS in the waves? Wash your mouth out with soap, young man!

No they didn't........... you don't take gps's out in 2.5 to 3m swell
But interesting point never thought about that as an option?
yeah spose its not such a good look although by all accounts Ado and Pd did a fair bit of sailing yesterday in swell that size...cost Pd his gps how ever
Must admit it did cross my mind, but I think I caused a leak in my old aquapack at corros, when I tried backlooping my speed board, for some reason a 5.5 slalom sail doesn't rotate the same way as a wave sail. Under rotated and landed nose first. My right shoulder with pack on it was probably first part of me to hit the water. Think that compressed the air inside and blew that very small seam right at the top. With my new one, I squeeze out as much as I can before sealing it.
Decided yesterday, not to risk it, a rinse in the waves can do anything.
