any thoughts?
Had similar pain myself, but resolved it as follows:
Speed is a human need.
We all wanna go fast.
Kiters have found they can be super fast, and have pushed the boundaries, I am always happy to hear of speed records broken in every other sport, so why not Kiting, just coz my fragile little ego gets wounded, well what if i say......."hey it's great for them too!!""......so lets be happy and cheer them on, it's brilliant really that humans push the limits!!
Heard some technical reasons why they have such amazing speeds.
The slingshot effect, can give them higher 2 sec peaks than windsurfers. They sail in much flatter water. Huge power access, small resistence, in board and fins.
Let's cheer them on, and just get on with enjoying what we do!
