Hello,

For next season i have ordered iSonic101 and iSonic131 boards.
Only two sails MauiSails TR-6 7m2 and 9,2m2.

I will be doing some slalom racing and speed with the smaller one.
Conditoins are usually quite choppy even when going for speed.

My weight is about 78kg (172lbs).

I was thinking of getting 3-4 fins maybe one dedicated to speed in strong wind.
What do you guys suggest? 3 Fireblades 1 Mach speed? What sizes.

Starboard recomends Deboichet SL4 36-38cm for 101 7m2 and 50cm R16 with 131 9,2m2.

There is more light wind slalom days here than strong.
Do you i might get away with three fins? The boards are so far away from each other so i can't switch fins between the boards.

All comments are welcome.

I recommend C3 Venoms for these boards.

iS131 - C3 Venom 50 for light wind, C3 Venom 46 for medium winds.
iS101 - C3 Venom 42 for medium wind, and C3 Venom 38 for medium to strong.

However, you are lighter than I am, so you could possibly get away with just the V46 for the iS131, and just the V38 for the iS101.

Refer: http://www.c3-fins.com/C3_web/home.html

You can extend the range of each board by changing fins - 2 to 3 fins for each of the boards would make a huge difference.

Thanks chris,

If was checking the C3 fins also.
Do you know that they make 50cm Venom fins.
www.c3-fins.com/C3_web/products.html here only up to 48cm mentioned.
Somewhere i read sometihing about that you should go for little longer fins with Venoms compared to other manufacturers. Because of their thin tips?
I'm going to ask boogie about this.
