best way is search beachmere in google maps: It takes you about 40mins from brissy. its on the bay about halfway between sandgate and bribie.
It is definately a great place to learn loops, the ramps progressively get bigger, but seem to stand up, so for forwards they are perfect to get air but not having to pop too hard (meaning you can concentrate on cranking that back hand :)).
The best direction is S/SE or SE. You can still sail it on a E/SE but its more dead onshore so makes hitting the rampls slightly more difficult.
Also can sail on NE, but usually on SE the ramps build all the way across the bay and hit with a decent size.
I would say the only bad thing is that as its sand flats then it can be a bit of a walk on low tide.
I will def put the call out - sounds like a few people are keen and usual there is only the crew of us sailing there.
