Now is a good time to join WT, September is just round the corner and Al Nina said the long range forecast is going to be a cracker

Check out the WT website, you can join online - www.windsurfing.org/tas.htm

.......pretty cool and lots of free sails on offer............you can get a free sail anywhere in Tassie....now how's that for a deal

Let's see how many we can get into WT this year

Er...sorry Jez your membership was rejected at the last committee meeting......can't say who voted against you, that's against committee protocol, but I can say it was unanimous
Don't feel bad just because you are the 1st person ever to be voted down....I'm sure you could find friends in the local darts club.....er but maybe not....lucky you're going out with a physiologist, she may be able to find you a better option

Hey Russ, I think we are winners anyway for supporting local sail makers We don't sell our souls to the large companies like some

Hope you guys get plenty of wind and remember join WT now and get a free sail

Obviously Jez is the exception cos he's banned from our club

I'm curious what beginners boards does WT have?

I'm struggling a little to get the hang of my 120L board (having previously only used a massive 80s board) and was thinking a few hours on a board that's a bit more floaty might accelerate the learning curve substantially.

And what's that bit about free sails?

Ant (the WT president) is donating all his sails and boards to anyone who wants them. The trick is to break into his BIG toy shed while he's away in Africa.
