With Artus the artist turning 60 on the saturday , I can see many southerners won't finish drinking till around 3 or 4 easter Sunday.

I'd bee keen for a Mon/Tues session. Or comp I spose

Friday may be the best option as the wind seems too light for Sat. Sun at this stage

It seems like the forecast is to sketchy to hold a contest at the moment. Friday is affected by a low pressure system and on Saturday the wind looks a little to south westerly. If the forecast was for 25 to 35 knots on Saturday it would be Ok but a 20 to 25 knot forecast that is easing seems a little marginal.

Sorry guys...looks like the wind is not going to be reliable enough and the direction is not ideal so there will be no comp this weekend.

So, what do you think will there be conditions for at least some wave sailing at the Bell Buoy for coming days, if not for the competition?

After all, competition is cancelled, and that usually means that conditions are going to be much better then forecast!!

Jimo - I am aiming to hit Bellbuoy on Friday, as soon as the wind comes in (IF the wind comes in) - so that's ONE.

Saturday is looking like being a dud.

To attempt a comp would be folly with the messy forecast, but as you said, once the comp is canned, we might have a greater expectation of a blow.

I hereby officially can the comp! (in my capacity as casual observer)

As Houston said, without him here the standard would be quite low....but I am sure that we can come up with a few other JOKES between us, they just wont be the BELLY LAUGH that we can expect when Houston hits the water.
