Hi all,

I'm new here but have a very old board. It's a classic one design from around 1982. Can anyone tell me if it's worth anything as I need to make space. It has the following:

1 full rig mast (with mast foot) and sail (no boom unfortunately)
1 higher aspect rig with mast extension and boom
1 Small beginners rig (mast sail and boom and mast foot)

It all works and I took it out recently and all was fine except the centre board sticks a bit and is hard to get in and out. By the way, if any one knows how to fix this I'd be interested.

The sail number is 330189. Also has a harness and a home made cover

Cheers

Hi Nifty
The One Designs (or Wallys), are still fun to sail and track upwind pretty well. as far as i know, they are still raced at Parkdale Yacht Club so it might be worth putting an ad up on their notice board.
There is also a One Design Facebook group.

If its in good nick you might get a few hundred. Check out eBay as well to see what they are going for.

May be some interest in it on ebay as Inverloch Windsurfing Club has got its RPS Longboard Challenge on, on the 17th March. An event where teams compete a number of events on longboards such as the Wallys. Good luck with selling it
