Mainly winging but would love to DWind sup foil when I find the right board. Was eyeing up the Army 1325 but reading here maybe the 1110 is the ticket for downwinding?!

Also anyone know if the Sabfoil mast (82/92) is stiffer then the Armstrong? I'm also jumping, what would people think is the strongest gear?? (Have seen some photos army mast cracking at fuse connection)

Jumping from army to sabfoil I've found the 82 mast is stiffer and the whole kit is just way more balanced. So far I've found the 1110 the most efficient best gliding foil I've ridden. I've done my longest multiple link ups prone surfing and winging I've been able to catch bumps I never thought I could ride. I would say it would sit between the 1125 and the 1325 just a little more efficient. From all my mates on army the 925 has been a great foil for them and they are really happy with it. I would compare it to the w1000. A lot of the voyage foilers have used the w1000 for down winding and said it's super smooth. And would be great for you at only 68kgs

im looking forward to the right conditions so I can try out the 1110 on a prone down winder. As I'm 82kgs.
where abouts are you located? It's definitely worth demoing gear if possible.

If you have the time to wait and can splash the extra money: get an Cedrus mast.I have the 82 and it is stiff enough for a bit of swell riding and flying back and forth. A friend of me has the 92 and is jumping well with it, but none of our masts are getting close to the Cedrus a buddy of us uses, so I would rather go for 1 Cedrus instead of 2 different length masts. Bonus: with an adapter you can switch easier/saves you a kidney if you want to switch between brands

Stabs:
I'm close to 100kg and tried the 370 but that makes the set a bit too loose for my mediocre skills on the shorter kite fuse.399 is small and fast enough for me and I use it 50% of the time. The rest i,m on the 425. The 425 is a big 370, fast and maneuverable enough for me but a bit easier/less nervous, probably overkill when you are more skilled. @Wicka:The 1110 is a beast!Yesterday I was finally back in the water after 5 weeks recovery from a surf ear surgery and because i,m not 100% fit I went to a lake nearby with my big board. Air 7degree and 5m windEven on a lake of a couple of KM long I could ride with the 1110 the calf high windwaves for like 20 seconds. really unbrelievable

I see you are riding the Skywing 2022 and use the extra holes on the SABmast plate to put it as forwrd as you can. Is it still OK or would you be happier with rails a bit further forward with the 1110 setup? Also the 425 should give you more lift then the 399?
I wish they put rails more at the front for SAB users and heavier riders !

Hi Frankie, sorry I missed your post completely in feb.
The standard holes are just enough, but with the 2th row I had a bit more space to play with.
I,m a 100kg so not exactly a featherweight but the rails position is just right for me. With the Rails further forward as with my AK5.8 it would make the board ride-feel differently, and I don,t know if it would suit the shape/feel they seem to be looking for. The fanatic is simply more surfed from the tail/foot almost against the kicker where I surf my AK a bit in front of the kicker.
Stabs: 425 vs 399: I,m not sure one will ad more lift as they other, but the 425 is more stable and easier to pump at the expense of the topspeed.
