"A vessel has run over the Banana Bank beacon and it is unknown when or if it will be repaired.
I believe a legal process regarding the incident is also underway."


Email response from the BOM week or more ago.

Email response from the BOM week or more ago.

It seems incredible to me that people can collide with beacons,but it happens all the time. Think about that next time you're sailing across the Manly leads channel in front of a big stink boat.It may be 50 ft long but there's a good chance it's his first boat. WE NEED BANANAS !!!!
