I have just returned from Naxos. I didn't sail Mikri Vigla, so can't vouch for that, but did sail the Lagoon near the Naxos port part of the island.
The Meltemi wind situation mid-september..? You may be lucky. I expect it might begin to die down around then. Probably best to check historical records for this region and see what it looks like:
