Had my first go on the v2 78sss and it was everything I hoped it would be. Years ago when I first discussed the sss with Jacko he told me that my assumption the Florence 110x would be an awesome match for the 78sss was likely correct. Here we are, a few years later and I had the opportunity to do my first ride on the v2 with a buddies Florence 110x. Originally I described that foil as having "fun, slower, but super enjoyable longboard style turns" (www.wouzel.com/post/shallow-water-exploration-part-2-winging-the-florence-110-x-in-the-gorge). With the 78sss v2 the upgrade was obvious. Snappy performance turns and tight radius carves were now available to me.

I purchased the new Vario 120 with Grubb 16 and Carve 20 tails to go with it. Monster wind forecasted for next week so I'll really get to push it hard but every one of my first impressions was positive.
