I had no idea what you were talking about with the "donut thing" so went to their website. The sale spiel on the glue and materials would make you think they were indestructible! Surprised they didn't offer to replace it.
Just a non-specific tip - I was repairing my inflatable last weekend and realised that I should have pumped the air fully out of the section when applying the patch (most pumps can either inflate and deflate). By creating a vacuum, it "sucks" the patch and would create a better bond (I think). Like vacuum bagging in a resin layup? May help your situation given the donut section would be tricky to clamp.

I don't know if I'm in the right part of their website but since the BOM "renovated" their website (how many millions did that cost?) is so diluted, dumbed down and catered for common numpty - it's now useless. Even the rain radar seems to have been dialed back in resolution (?). You could previously clearly see storm bursts roll through or coming, now it's broad, blue "blobs".
Their forecasts are also frustrating and seemed to have been dialled back in detail, relaying some vague "vibe" about what the days ahead are. The rain forecast has been amended to now based on "More than a 50% chance of...". This too appears very underestimated as to what actual conditions may eventuate. It never seems to state above 5mm yet we have had several 10mm+ hourly events in the last couple of weeks.
It feels the website has gone from the cardigan crowd to Gen Z.
