Anyone keen for a fun and epic session at Novara when the seabreezes kick in? If you're into fanging through nice rolling chop and doing long 7-8km runs across the Peel Inlet into Boombas (and Claudsville), this should be right up your alley!

Plan is as follows:

When: next decent SW seabreeze (date TBD - likely a Saturday, NOT on a long weekend)
Who: Anyone who's keen (Fins, Kiters, Wingfoilers)
Format: Hare & Hound style (leader decides when to gybe - as soon as you can see the beach at Boombas, time to turn back!)
Categories: 1hr, NM, Distance, 2sec (for those wearing GPSs). I'll summarise the data and post on this forum at the end.
Goal: Have a heap of fun doing what we all enjoy most. Go as long and as hard as you want/are able to. This is NOT a competition!
Equipment: Suggest a board that will float you back to start if wind dies. No walks of shame please!

Below is a sample of what to expect on the day (courtesy of ELMO from Mandurah Mob). A bit of upwind for the first several runs and then a couple of big 7-8km sends off the wind to home when you've had enough or feeling knackered!

Hope to see some of you there. Bring the weapon of your choice and bring it ONN!💪

I'll post a potential date in the next few weeks/months for when would be a suitable day (seabreeze permitting).

Stay tuned!

Myself and others will be doing some practice runs over the coming weeks, so come along and join us anytime. Launch spot is on the map below.
