Thanks - I'm really looking forward to getting back into it! The RIP Robby Naish soundtrack is still my favourite at the gym, loved that windsurf movie back in the day!

Thanks for all the replies - I've scrutinised them all and I reckon I'll pull the trigger on the 94l JP FSW (it's a coin toss between 94l and 104l). It might be a struggle at the start, but i still have a 90's mentality that smaller is better! I know with winging it was all about starting on a big board, but honestly I reckon it was actually way harder on a big board and wasn't really necessary ( WA helps as it's always windy). Different sports, but hopefully that still rings true. Looking forward to reengaging with what was my favourite sport when I was younger! 👍

Thanks for the reply - you raise a good point. I think maybe even go the JP FSW 94l as I would just keep that board for ever (I live next to the ocean so there are plenty of windy days). I learnt to Parawing initially on my 75l wingboard so over 100l does sound very big to essentially re-learn something. I'm very used to struggling for a bit! At least with windsurfing u have something to leverage against - parawing u just essentially have a plastic bag with some strings attached to it while balancing on a sinking board. I only want to buy one board - so maybe just go 94l and suck it up for a while? Just go out in 18kts plus?

G'day team. Haven't sailed for over 20yrs, but thinking of getting back into it this summer for a change. Was at a decent standard when I changed to kiting in 2002. Planning gybes, duck gybes, tacks, chop jumps, water starts, trips to Lancelin for wave sailing etc. Used to ride a JP 261/91 litre Freeride, the yellow F2 254/82 litre wave board and Neil Pryde Zones 5.3m and 5.7m. Currently kite foiling, parawinging, winging and kiting so still on the water a lot in WA. But, still miss just blasting around (I'm a bit bored with kiting and foiling to be honest).
So, thinking of getting a JP FSW around 100l (I'm 88kgs). Has anyone followed a similar path? Do I need to start back with a bigger board or do the windsurfing skills come rushing back? I wouldn't be venturing out in less than 15kts (range would be 18-30kts).
Thanks in advance for any input! Cheers.
