I think different riders, conditions, locations are going to give different reports. I found the glide difference to be pretty dramatic when comparing the 750v2 vs the enduro 800. For me, the 750 had epic turns on steep swell but absolutely couldn't be relied upon for downwinding. I tried it with a Mako pro surf tail and an ultra glide 39 tail. On the same day I swapped to the e800 and was completely relaxed downwinding but sacrificed on the carve. It worked with both the mako pro and the ultra glide 39.
I'd agree. I do parawing downwind laps on the 750v2 with the UG41 and short fuse and it absolutely rips for me when it's windy, super solid low end with plenty of glide and epic turning and control, but this is usually with a 2 knot upwind tide in protected water, so steep slow (compared to open ocean) bumps. I have the E900 and Ultra 750 but will always grab the Silk 750v2 given the chance. Just a friendly reminder that the short fuse loosens up the foil system massively so it's not just about the foils if looking for more turning.
