hi boys & girls
just back in Oz after 5 years living aboard in the pacific (is it always so @#$% cold here ???) and temporarily boatless
however there is one i'm interested in near brisbane and so wondering if anybody has a surveyor they can recommend please ? ideally northside, in / near Newport.

there is nowhere there to anchor. its either moorings or channel
nearest anchoring space would be morning bay

we we live (french polynesia) rising sea levels are NOT a joke
try living on an atoll that is only a couple of meters above sea level. you will soon change the record

the expression has been around for a long time
if you are going downhill and need to gybe, but for whatever reason (usually safety) elect to come up on to the wind, tack, and then bear away on the other gybe, this is a 'granny' as in what your granny might do (instead of a 'real sailor'
