Solid State vent plug is best that eliminates Gore Tex style failure points and leaks. I am surprised some manufacturers continue to persist to use the Gore Tex. I guess there are some advantages that justify it but overall it sounds like a pain best avoided or assists with sales of "retrofit" parts from auto shops.
