In NSW electric foils vessels are classified under the Marine Safety Act 1998 as a personal watercraft (PWC).

When a pwc is above 6knots you must stay 30meters from other vessels.

I think e foils are great, but please keep clear of other surfers, wingers, foilers by at least 30meters.


Please don't get upset if someone asks you to keep 30meters from them!

I think the wood veneer boards are great. Light weight, tough and last well.

The wood gives some thickness that makes it tough.

Would like to see more xps foam boards. the xps foam does not absorb water like eps. But Xps is heavier and harder to get epoxy to bond with..
