Hi Microsurfer,
Mate I'm 59yo, 5'10 about 90kg. I ride the 8'8 Sunova SP25 and the 8'10 Sunova Ghost. I can honestly say both board's have caught waves from ankle to shoulder high. Just to give you some idea.
