Like others said, there should be a black plastic cap between the fuselage and mast. But even with it, my 105cm fuse through bolts were off alignment by a hair. When I wanted to use that fuse, I had a plastic shim (cut from a milk jug) that I would put on top of the plastic cap so the holes would align.
the through holes of the 115 and 95 cm fuselages aligned properly.

Hi, I recently received my AEON foil. I am having trouble mounting it to my board because the mounting screws are set in an angled position with no adjustment possibility. My boards are Severne Hydro/Starboard X-15 with flat head deep tuttle foil box. My previous Starboard Race Foil mounts with the screws 90 degrees up from the tuttle head. It also has some wiggle room for adapting to shim adjustment of the rake. The AEON foil doesn't have this possibility. Patrik is not responding to my request for help. Is there anyone here who have experienced the same problem and maybe have a solution?

I am having the same problem. I have a starboard freeride 144 board. When I set the foil without shims, I have 5 degrees of rake. When I set the mast rake at 2-3 degrees so when I put the shim (thickest part in the back), the bolt head is sitting at an angle in relationship to the roof of the box and ends up bending. I will create shims for the top washer so the bolt head sits flat. If that doesn’t help, I will make a slot in the mast so I can angle the bolt (more upright). That is how the IQfoil mast works.

I also have the same issue with Patrik: they don’t respond to messages or they forward it to a shop. Their foils are good but their customer service, in my experience, is bad.

Balz (80kg) shows how to get going in light air with his favorite sail: 4.8. Meanwhile, Mr. "windfoil hype is over" is trying to sell 9.5s over on his youtube channel.

His technique looks excellent, of course, but I wonder what is the actual wind speed.

Are you using the 100 or 110? Regardless, you want to check how much forward the front wing is in the v1 vs the v2. I have the 100 and 110 both V1 and the difference is around 2cm. Regardless, when chasing light wind foiling, every bit counts.
