In terms of foil choice for light wind, is the idea to just use the fastest foil you can actually pump up? Or are there other factors that determine compromises between lift, speed, and glide?

He's still struggling with the space data centres and the mars colony and the sports car with rockets on it and the cyber truck boat and all the other stuff.

Summer's back in Sydney so I've just pumped up a 10' (not sure volume) and 10'6 260L paddleboard to 17.5 psi. That took me from 3/5 bars of battery down to 1 bar. Just to give anyone an idea of battery life.

That's a bit concerning, I'll see how mine goes. There are a few other brands out there which make similar or identical looking products, do we know whether they have the same OEM in china and if so which brands or models are different?

I got an Airbank Pulse Pro about 9 months ago. It wasn't cheap, I don't remember exactly but maybe $300 on sale? But it's been awesome. More accurate than my hand pump (which was the reason I started investigating pumps - my hand pump under-read by 0.5-1 PSI) but also faster, great battery life (would get 8-ish wing inflations out of a single charge), will do a 10" SUP to 18 PSI in about 10 mins without overheating and with charge left, etc.
Really can't complain.
