Have my KT Dragonfly 7’ 100L mast placement at 12 on the Silk V2. V1 and Enduro was at 10. Feeling really great. Had the 1150 V2 out yesterday in some 1-2’ lake mush. What an awesome foil! Can whip around on the smallest little downhill and pull super tight carves on it. Really good glide and low end. Foil communicates stall incoming and you can easily pump out of it. Using the short fuselage with the USurf 150 in long position.
I picked up the S3 4.2m and I’m so glad I did. Will be my most used size for sure. It does everything so well. Even in light wind I am picking this over the 5.3m as it feels a bit clunky sometimes and with right board and foil 4.2m can handle get ups in some really light stuff. Of course still keeping my 5.3m as a session saver.
Finally got the Silk V2 1050 with USurf 150 in the sweet spot on my Omen Emissary 55L. V1 was setup at 5 and V2 is at 8. Way more forward in the tracks than I was expecting. Setup feels so good now. Some free ride action, not much for bumps but you get the idea:

Im still figuring out position in the tracks too, but its at least an inch forward of the v1s and enduros and maybe closer to 1.5".
I agree, way farther forward than what I was expecting. I also think maybe the new fuselage geometry is required. As I've seen myself breach the stabilizer a few times. The V2 seems to stabilize itself at the surface but that leaves the tail to breach easily in an aggressive maneuver. New fuselage geometry drops the stabilizer down farther keeping it out of the flow from the front foil and deeper in the water. I have my eye on the new titanium one, but that thing is $$$

Aloha! Hope your 2026 season has been going great! We want everyone on this email list to get the news first that new BRM gear will be launching next week. A crazy amount of work went in. We're so stoked to feel that so many things aligned and have taken our parawing experience to the next level. For me personally, the amount of parawing gear launched lately feels overwhelming. There's no desire to add to the noise. So, I hope that you'll see with the new gear that our focus has been only on what elevates the riding experience.
