KT Super Kv2.i,m 97kg and have the 95l for wingfoil. If you have often decent glass waves i can totally see this board work as a supfoil in fo me bigger sizes like the 120l version.never gonna happen in the netherlands, so i stick to my sunova dw 8.4x20x125l

I sup surf a super K 2 V2 90 litre

How do you find this Volume for your weight? Im 85Kg so thinking I might need to go bigger volume? Is the contruction solid, lots of talk still about there quality of layups.

It seems you can’t swap batteries?

I've made some initial enquiries with board manafacturers who were acknowledged at AWSI to be a Riift partner, however yet to hear anything back. Will be interested how they plan to go to market with a system and then waiting months to have a board delivered. I noticed Appletree are making it public if you order from them you get priority on a Riift system.

Carbonco here in Brisbane has gotten onboard with RIIFT and has tracks coming. No idea of the lead time for tracks but shouldn’t take too long to build a board around them.

Oh really? I know the 3 & 4 P use the bigger "box/ johnston" and the 2 P is a smaller stand alone.

we had access to 5 sunova boards with the riift box fitted, up 50l - all smicko

various riift batteries 2 3 4p, just different sizes, have box inserts too, if using smaller battery, but 4p won't fit smaller boards

armie ma2 890 surf tail170

the set up quick, still needs some polish imho, cable to the motor too long and different lengths should be offered. the cable sits on the side of the mast - not sure if that effects the dynamics much

monopod good but one strap is left proud and flappy- minor issue

motor is longer and narrower than fd, plenty of oomph and spins up very well. 3 props hub needs a tidy as screw ends protrude a bit - minor issue

controller a fd 2 clone. lost connectivity to the battery nearly every time I stopped or fell off

otherwise quiet, smooth and very usable, heaps of grunt no issue getting up on foil on the 890, im 85kg 45l board

I was impressed overall. invested in fd so need something substantial to change me over thou

locked into the one board too, but the board could be used to prone, tow boogie

pricing all important but will be viable competitor to fd, which is a good thing imho, keep them innovating

An in depth review. Points to note is the spooling (no pre spooling) 50cm cable standard, they'll get you on the custom length later $$, tilt sensor . 2p & 3P same size "box" 4 P bigger "box". Looks like I'm going to have to fly somewhere to test battery sizes and board feels and brands before taking the costly plunge on board. Hold your breath for those prices to come through..cirka $2500 - 3K havent seen these yet?

Plenty of info here now…riift.com/pages/tracks-system

Fantastic! The power info kinda goes over my head. Hopefully they take an approach of going interstate in Aus with demos initally with the intergrated boards so users can trial the product and choose battery sizes. Excited to hear the pricing!!

yep. will demo today!

How did you go?
