I’m trying to track down an Isonic to complete my slalom board line up. After much trial and error I find I get along with isonics the best. My quest for 40kn is ongoing.
Im hoping someone in Perth, WA has something tucked away they aren’t going to use again.
I quite like my 2013 model Isonic so closer to that the better, will be happy with older, but will also consider newer.
I’ll look at any condition board as I can fix most things, but it still needs to be worth fixing.

Hey Bajafoilguy,
I am 125kg and intermediate foiling in a 145l JP foil board, 869 Medusa pro and was on a 7.2 Moto in 15-18kn until just recently.
I was having problems with pitch control and having very large catapults/wipe outs as the gusts hit me and I couldn’t keep the foil from breaching as it lifted even with my full weight on the mast foot as I tried to depower.
Things I learnt, try different rear stab shims. I actually added positive 0.7 shim and then positive 1.5 shim to the stab and found it to slow down and stabilise the pitch control. The additional positive shim does give you more take off lift, but it allows you to move the mast base forward which gives you more stability. It also gives you more mast foot pressure because the lever arm is longer which is also why there is more stability. It may feel, or even be slower, but many people argue that stability and comfort comes before speed. It’s only been my experience so happy to hear counter arguments.
also, I bought a foil specific sail, and it has completely removed a lot of my concerns I had using the Moto. It’s lighter, so easier to uphaul and pump, has more low end grunt to get you up on foil, and when on foil it doesn’t respond to gusts like my Moto did. It is very stable, which allows for much more comfortable pitch control.
