I also experienced the collapse described above but I quickly realised this was due to the habit of riding off the A lines with single skins. With the Orbit you sheet it more evenly in terms of pressure across all the bridles. Having the PAL on in a big gust can also cause it to happen. After 30 mins I had this sussed and it didn’t happen again. The range felt good to me thanks to the PAL and amazing upper end in the big gusts but I’m only one session in ….

Had my first go with the 3.5 Orbit yesterday in 20-35 knot winds and was very impressed. In tough conditions it turned what would have been a fight upwind with a 2.4 single skin into a fast efficient cruise - I kept overshooting my dw start point as I was enjoying it so much. I won't be using anything else in these conditions anytime soon. Incredible the difference to the power the trim line makes, even with just an inch pulled in. I was worried about stashing but it was fine, using the Manera side stash belt. It collapsed fairly easily with an aggressive bear away to dead downwind. As Walnut said it''s not playful or the quickest to turn, but hey I just wanna do a 2-3km upwind and then stash and go, so I don't really care. It did take me a while to dial it in, it is a totally different feel... but stick with it and the rewards are there big time. A couple of times I drowned it but getting it drained and back up was easy enough. It's definitely not for beginners IMHO. Overall very excited and feel this wing is a big step forward for me and what i want to do with the para.
