Please don't bring Musk into this. We don't need another overhyped vapourware product that might or might not work if it actually is delivered.

There are already shark deterrent devices on the market and if you are a Western Australian resident the state government will give you $200 rebate. In addition if you live in Australia most areas are covered by a shark monitoring system.

No shark deterrent will work 100% because hunting behaviour of sharks varies greatly between species. Even within a species they adapt their hunting behaviour to environmental conditions.

I think a better approach would be to combine deterrent devices with monitoring and environmental details (migration pattern, ocean water temperatures, fishing boat activity etc) in a warning system.

At the moment if you go to the World Windsurf Tour web site there is no link to the event web site (aka Facebook page). Instead you have two options:
1) go to the event section which just lists every single WWT event. Apparently 70+ in September alone.

2) go to the "follow the action" (watch) page on the web site to get access to the elimination ladder and broadcast stream. However there is zero reference to the Facebook page or Insta feeds. The elimination ladder also seems only randomly be updated.

For the Hawaii event is was so bad I only found the event web site because someone sent me the link.

Not to be rude but multiple posts re different trips to different greek islands, all planed for September followed by a post with a link for a car rental company. Smells like an attempt to post ads or a bot spamming the forum.
