Soooo... is a reliable solution for this problem? Given the way carbon boom prices are going restoring my all booms suddenly seems like a pretty good option.

To be honest hiring foil gear in most places except for bigger sports centers is incredibly painful.

Everytime I go back to Germany I try and get a session in at one of the local lakes but so far without much luck… either gear is booked out or they don’t have what you need.

Now toying with taking some old gear with me next time and leaving it at my parents house.

I filmed Ben a couple of months ago using a 2027 5.6 S1. Don't remember if it was a standard or pro.

I'd say it affects the East Coast more than WA. Summer sea breezes here are more influenced by what the Lewin Current does. Or at least so I have been told. Also the amount of vegetation growth just inland seems to have an impact as well. So far WA has experienced drier than normal winter conditions but winter isn't over yet.

Given the egg prices I have seen in the US when travelling there in Dezember 24 / January 25 with massive amounts of chicken being culled I would say enjoy eggs while it lasts. We paid US$16 for a dozen eggs while there. 😱

I wouldn't exactly call being dragged behind a kite on a twin tip mastering the wave? This is about as far as you can get from actually surfing a wave.

One more thing. Beware when flying domestic, especially on Jetstar as they containerise on a lot of routes meaning there is length limit in regards to bags. For Jetstar the limit is usually 190cm.
