My review was non sponsored, I have no connections to watersports industry, I don't have any sponsorships and I don't give manufacturers any editorial control over what I put in the videos. Any product I review is borrowed and then returned and if for any reason it isn't the review would be marked as paid promotion. My youtube channel is not monetised- on purpose. The whole point is to be independent.
I trust Ash and his reviews with my life. One of the true sources of unbiased reviews on gear that I watch on a regular basis. I appreciate that he always calls it how it is (good and bad). I never feel like he's trying to sell me something unlike a lot of other "reviewers".
Also I think Ash runs a successful software biz for work. I doubt his reviews are about the money. He's taking the time and effort to serve our community.
