Sometimes they will be — weather is chaotic, and coastal wind is especially fiddly.
- Models disagree; we blend and present what is useful for wind sports, which will not always match another site or a TV bulletin.
- Local effects (cliffs, river mouths, sea breeze timing) can beat a grid forecast for a few hours.
- Compare several days and neighbouring locations before writing a day off.
