It was a great day with great people in great conditions. Wind was about ENE 25 mph with gust to 35. Waves were head high plus, NNW at about 12 seconds. I was on a SAB 835/370 custom 810 fuselage and 3.6 Hot Sails Freestyle. Of course my 110L 6ft Roberts. Still working on mounts and editing for the insta360 x3 but starting to figure it out. I believe Windfoiling on reef waves/swells offers somethings that you can only get with a sail. Don't get me wrong, I don't think is better than Wingfoiling, windsurfing, surffoiling, downwinding or Kiting it is just a different kind of fun. For me it's being able to add power to the carves. I would love to see some pro level windsurf wave riders take wave windfoiling to a new level doing all the same things they do in the waves on a windsurfer but on a windfoil or some things that a foil is better suited for like a 360 on the wave face. Or maybe in lighter winds or smaller waves when the foil really shines. I think anyone into IQ foil racing has more than enough skill to have a blast WWF What do you think?
