I completed the project over the course of about four months during occasional weekends and evenings. Sorry, I didn't get any pictures showing the fiberglass lamination process - not enough hands. See links to videos below from the experts, showing how it should be done! This started as a project to make a light wind freeride board, which has since evolved into a foil board. Not everything turned out quite the way I wanted, but I was very pleased that it worked at all, and almost 2 years later I'm still sailing the board. The main modifications have included adding foot strap inserts nearer the rails and replacing the fin box with a deep Tuttle foil box. As a freeride board the deck is too flat, which means the feet are too pointed and become uncomfortable after long periods of sailing. Having foot straps more outboard allows you to stand more on the rail, and improves control and ability to drive the board with more power. However, a flatter deck is not a problem when sailing as a foil board, and with its high volume and early paling abilities, this board works very well for foiling.
