02 jan 2024 Gear used is Patrik 120 f-race, Ezzy Lion 7.5, 40cm patrik fin + some footage at the end is with fangy 28 fin. I was having lots of trouble with spinout. Maybe because of technique. I learnt on big wide boards with 60cm fin where i can really push. Also the spot, there are holes in the wind so that could cause it too i guess. I have since learnt that mast base forward helps. The fangy 28 never spins out here. It is such a marvellous spot to sail. Cicadas can be heard from land, we can smell bbq from the people on the beach and hear music as we sail. However, council proposes to make changes to how we access this spot (see 'save jimmys vid') so we better get it while we can. #windsurfing
