On the north shore of Maui we can not windfoil, wingfoil, kitefoil, windsurf or kiteboard until after 11 am. Surfers and Standup Paddle-boarders are allowed out earlier because they do not pose a threat to snorkle fisherman like we do. So getting out right at 11 am can be the best time to catch a wave with your friends although the wind might be lighter than in the afternoon when the trade winds usually pick up a bit. The best wind can often be in the afternoon so we do not have a problem sharing the water with others. The Rolling Stones are always great to listen to

The Early Windfoiler gets the Wave. Foiling at 11 am is always fun with my Wingfoiling friends
