When we built the carbon kiteboard we knew that the skins on it were really thin and there was a good chance it might break. Well it did, not how I expected but in a way that is not surprising. In this video I'll discuss the break and what we could do in the future to mitigate it. I'll also show how I am fixing the damaged areas. Ultimately after riding the fix at some point I'll do a carbon overlay over the repair to make it look better, but for the time being I want to ride it with clear glass/epoxy on it so I can see if there are any more buckling issues.
