Starboard iSonic Speed 45 Severne MACH5 Luderitz 5.2 C3 Slingshot 21 Fantastic session at West Inlet with Cookie, Perks, Izaak and Stew. Got there to see it was already windy with the forecast for it to increase, so instead of rigging the 5.7 (which I had been planning to use) decided to rig the 5.2 speed sail. Gear felt super comfortable, so thinking it might have been better to have been a bit more powered on the 5.7, but still great to be out on the 5.2 (as it doesn't get too much use). Everyone sailing well in some pretty extreme conditions! I only managed 8 runs and needed a few more good ones to push up my 5 x 10 average, but the wind had swung too broad (NW), just on the low tide, calling an end to the session. Well done to Cookie and Izaak with their 45 knot 2-second runs! We need more days like this!
