Great session on the F-One Frigate 4.7 off Mornington harbour (Victoria, Australia), although wind dropped making it a short one but a sweet one. Bumps here in a westerly are great but wind can be fickle. I show a full-lines packdown sequence at the end, which is long (over40secs) but I tend to prefer front lines and can frequently get the routine down to around 10 seconds or less with small parawings. I had 2 weeks on Maui (early Aug) learning parawinging in non-stop 25-40knots using F-One Frigate 3.5, BRM Kanaha 3.2 and 2.5 and ApplesliceV3 60l (yes I learnt on a 60l board at 84kg which was totally fine in solid wind). Lots of prior experience winging and FoilDrive dw runs and surf sessions. I was a bit hesitant about whether big parawings would work, but the 4.7 Frigate is amazing. I'm pretty certain I beat my upwind angle winging, which is a gamechanger for me. One run off the beach easily took me over 1km out to sea. Top end could be around 23 knots for me based on strong session previous day, but with harness you can push it to the limits and I think I can use my 60l board more often with all this power (manageable power). If there was risk of strong winds, I'd carry a smaller one in belt like in this session.
