Reflecting on what happened on the weekend when an average sail at Doran's turned very quickly into a speed session with very high speeds achieved 38 knots and 37knots on over 90 litres In high chop I think our equipment is getting so good now that Doran?s is turning into a true open water speed run location and one of the best training grounds for developing speed sailors in Australia.
It's a big call but the results just keep going up and up and the regularity of real wind is fantastic. It's so good to be able watch the gun fights in action and observe from the shore sailors flying off the wind
