When the plane first disappeared i read reports about the Maldives being a possible site. There were reports from locals about a large low flying arcraft flying over the islands with blue and red markings. I also read a report about a piece of wreckage washed up on the islands shortly after. It's about the same distance from Malaysia as the current search zone. Now a piece of wing has been found at reunion island a short distance from the Maldives. Why the hell hasn't this been further investigated??
