Australian-based yachting photographer, Andrea Francolini, has launched a fundraising project called 'My-First-School' which will raise money to buy much-needed school equipment to support the education of children in Northern Pakistan. My-First-School is a personal project for Francolini who is a regular visitor to Pakistan. He first visited the country in 2008 to photograph traditional sports, landscapes and daily life. During his trips, Francolini became familiar with several communities in the north of the country and discovered that many children, girls in particular, need basic school equipment which western children take ...
