Marine Rescue volunteers - Kay Cottee urges support for levy

In a move that supports the more than 2500 dedicated volunteers of Marine Rescue NSW that were honoured during last week's National Volunteer Week, the NSW Government has announced a plan to secure the long term financial future of the organisation, and famed round-world sailor Kay Cottee is urging sailors to vote for the levy. The Government is proposing an annual levy of $7.50 for all Boat Licences and Registrations with the money going directly to fund Marine Rescue NSW. "I urge everybody to vote "Yes" to the proposal.
