Near tragedy as man resists rescue

'Sava River rescue' .
They say you should step upwards when abandoning your ship, but one Croatian man this week took that so seriously he was in danger of losing his life. Ivan Plevnik, a Croatian man, who tried to anchor in the flooded Sava River in his home country, resisted the attempt of the member of the Croation special forces who dropped from a helicopter to rescue him. The rescue almost turned tragic, as the rescuer had to battle the flood waters of the river, as well as the man's reluctance, to finally rescue him at the last second. Watch the video: ...
