Tasmania's Sandy Bay will host International Cadet Worlds 2012

The International Cadet Class has awarded Hobart's Sandy Bay Sailing Club the rights to host the 2012 World Championships commencing in late December 2012. The Sandy Bay Sailing Club has a long standing history with the International Cadet Class, boasting numerous world and national champions in the class. The club, based on Nutgrove Beach, last hosted the world championships in 1994 and ran what was heralded as one of the best events in the class.
